Adhesive Capsulitis
Adhesive capsulitis, also known as frozen shoulder, is stiffness, pain, and limited range of movement in ones shoulder. It can occur after an injury or overuse. It also could be caused by a disease such as diabetes or even could be caused by a stroke. The tissues around the joint stiffen, scar tissue forms, and the shoulder movements become difficult and painful. The condition usually comes on slowly, and then goes away slowly over the course of a year or maybe more.
